I am back!!!

Its been a long time way with the fairies
in the world of workaholics, I have been,

but back I must to the enchanted web of insight to be foretold.

With little steps I forge a path
along the northern irish coast pondering,

for where will my ship anchor,
a period longer than the four months.

Ahoi, at last I still have a bit of time,
to explore a new path of Londonderry,

Such wonderful scenry one of which I am yet to fully discover.

Up and down

I dared to make a stance,
landed on my bum I sure did.

I picked up my brush again,
I gave it my best stroke.

Why can't I see the work?,
has my effort gone to waste!!

The colours my dear are still wet,
wait a while you'll
see.

Spring is here - Now it's time to fully blossom....

Pick up the microphone,
let me take you there...

Today, the film Knowing I saw,
at our local cinema, Dundonald Omniplex Belfast.
A clue had I not, a cinema near by we had,
perhaps it was a coincidence.
My lazy arse up I went, with my clothes
altered at the Sewing Room.
Lost along the way I almost got, walking of course
but, a beautiful sunny day it was.

On my way back, I pondered on the unfortold
events, the next couple of months will bring.
Lauryn hill on my ipod setting me to mixed emotions.......
but, hey its time !!!!! its time!!!!
For what you'll say? I can't explain it
but you'll know in time..
I shall now present the one and only
amongst all the artists I love ....Lauryn Hill..........

Blame it on the sun ......

It a bit late in applauding the Irish Rugby Team!!!

The caption of the Irish rugby team, Brain O'Driscoll holding the Six nations trophy.
+ Prince William Ahhhh !!!!!!! bless him!!!!!!.

RBS Six Nations Grand Slam 2009

Ronan 0 gara doing his bit 2 mins before its all over.

Yes, since I moved here, I've slowly
moved from football to rugby.

It's an awesome game, men in the full gear
giving each other a hard time with a ball.
Not an ordinary one indeed.

All I know is that it involves a lot of heavy duty tackling,
you might not make it alive that kind of thing.

I have to give it to the Irish team!!!!!
through the aggressiveness a beauty of the sport
they made it on top form.

Sweet Jazz

Here goes me, screaming and applauding such magnificent masterpiece.
She sounds absolutely divine with such sweet voice. I luv the way she handles the guitar amongst all she plays. I luv the instrumentals of this song reminds me of those of those old skool jazz artists.

At age 20, signed as an instructor at the Berklee College of Music that's what we call gifted.

Love in Time- by Esperanza Spalding

Wait a little while

We can't rush what belongs

To the heavens above

Like the course of our love without time

We'll never see what's behind

This elusive romance

Could be two who'll prove love is more than

Mere chance

Let's wait a little while

And find out why we're waiting

Amidst those parading

Desir like a torch fire

Amidst those who scramble

For love all a flutter

When true love is something subtler

We'll create if we just wait...

We can't rush a happy ending

That's not in our dstiny's plan

Sweet this seems we can't see

The grand scheme of our lives

Which really are what we'd share

If this romance is true

So take time to live yours

I will too while we

Wait a little while and be sure

We're not fooled

By the things we've been schooled

To take as signs that love's arrived

Like charm wit and beauty

Our youth made us seek them

But in truth we don't need them

We're in love, so let's take our time.

Happy belated St Patrick's day.

That fateful 17th day of March arrived yet again to celebrate St Patrick. I was just glad to have another day off to lounge, shop for food, eat and watch a decent dvd. Ooops exposed my lazy self.

A Young chap on the right in belfast celebrating St Patrick's day.

According to the telegraph there are 10 top facts to know and I promise not to bore you :-

1. St Patrick, is the patron saint of Ireland.

2. He returned to Ireland in his 30's after being in salvery from 14 yrs on Irish soil

3. Legend holds that he used the native shamrock as symbol for holy trinity.

6. You need a bit of hard stuff - I'll try some guiness to drown the shamrock

7. The fav toast of the irish " May the roof above us never fall in, and may we friends beneath it never fall out".

8. First celebrated in USA, Massachusetts in 1737. ??Blimey and you would have thot otherwise

Boys!!!! Boys!!!!! Boys!!!!!

Having lived during my early teens, in a little crude oil producing town called Port Harcourt, in my beloved second homeland Nigeria, West Africa, I learnt a few tips about boys !! boys!

A very short poem I learnt at school, Federal Government Girls College, Abuloma. A school that is one with world fashion history in the year of 2001 , a young aspiring model Miss Agbani Darego won the Miss World competition. The first black African winner of the title.

Miss Agbani Darego on the right crowned Miss World 2001

The poem I will always recall brings back memories of attending extra after school classes where following the end of such classes , you would undoubtably be bombarded by the cries of the lads. It is simply written and was a poster on my teenage wall. Ahh!! bless such sweet memoirs!!

Books before boys!!

Because boys before books!!

Brings baby boys!!

She laughs out loud!!! She guesses you didn't see that coming but bear in mind the thoughts of young teens..

It was one of the shortest poems I read but one which led me to write loads of poems to date.

I will keep you posted .....

What's the craic?

My first post ever and still trying to figure out posting the right submission .........................

4th try

Yeah, you read me saying that, "What's the craic ?". I am still getting to grips with using the phrase which simply means how are you doing? how is it going? or simply how are you?

It was initially puzzling, but sooner or later you become part of the inner fold you would appreciate good old Northern Irish humour.

In the next few days , I will be adding on different Northern Irish slangs, phrases used in everyday conversation that could cause a ripple effect or cheer someone up.
